Use A Spell Checking Tool If Available

Click within the Message window message text area. Click the Message window Tools drop down menu and select the Spelling command,or press the F7 key,to spell check your message. If Outlook encounters a word it thinks is spelt incorrectly the Spelling dialog box will be displayed.

The miss-spelt word is displayed in the Not in Dictionary text box. The Suggestions list displays a list of possible spellings. Select the correct spelling from the Suggestions list or type the correct spelling into the Change to text box.

Attach A File To A Message

Email is not restricted to just simple text messages, you can also insert files into messages. For example, if you had to send a copy of your budget to your manager, simply insert a copy of the spreadsheet into a message.Or perhaps tou would like to send someone a photo.There are no restrictions on the types of file that can be inserted into a message:

Once you have finished entering the text of your message, click the Insert File icon on the Message window toolbar,or click the Insert drop down menu and select the File command.
The Insert File dialog box will be displayed. Select the file you wish to attach to the message.
Select OK to close the Insert File dialog box. An icon will appear inside the message text area to indicate the presence of a file.
Send A Message With High/Low Priority

Click on the Options icon, located on the Message dialog box toolbar to display the Message Options dialog box.
To set the message importance, click the down arrow to the right of the Importance box and select from the menu displayed.
To set the sensitivity of the message, click the down arrow to the right of the Sensitivity box and select from the menu displayed.
If you want the replies to this message sent to someone else, enter the persons email address into the Have replies sent to text box.
You can specify a delivery date for the message; Outlook will not attempt to deliver the message before this date.
Enter the date into the Do not deliver before text box.(or click the down arrow to the right of the Do not deliver before text box and select the date from the calendar.)
You can also specify an expiry date; the message will not be available after the specified date.
Enter the expiry date into the Expires after text box .(or click the down arrow to the right of the Expires after text box and select the date from the calendar displayed.
Select the Request a delivery receipt for this message check box if you want to be notified of when the message has been delivered.
Select the Request a read receipt for this message check box if you want to be notified when the recipient has read the message.

Click on the Close button, located on the bottom right corner of the Message Options dialog box.
Once you have finished composing your message, click the Send icon on the Message dialog box toolbar.(or press Ctrl+enter).Your message is on it`s way.
